How long will my renovation actually take?
Honestly, it depends on what you’re having done. A quick room refresh might wrap up in a week or two, while a full extension or loft conversion usually runs 6–12 weeks. We won’t give you a vague “it depends” and leave it there during your free consultation; we walk through your specific project and give you a realistic timeline before any work starts.
Do I need to sort out planning permission myself?
No, that’s on us. We handle the drawings, the planning applications where they’re needed, and building regs approval from start to finish. You shouldn’t have to be the one chasing the council that’s part of what you’re paying us for.
Are the people actually doing the work qualified?
Yes and this matters more than people think. Our electricians are NICEIC-certified and our gas engineers are Gas Safe registered. Everyone on site is a proper tradesperson, fully insured, not a subcontractor we’ve never met before.
Which areas do you actually cover?
We’re based in Greater Manchester and regularly work in Hale, Altrincham, Stockport, Prestwich, Wilmslow, Worsley, Gatley, and Bramhall plus most of the surrounding Greater Manchester areas. If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, just ask us.
Is the quote actually free, or is there a catch?
It’s free, no catch. We’ll come out, look at the job, and give you a proper written quote no hidden extras added halfway through the project.
What happens if something goes wrong after the job's finished?
Every job we complete comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If something’s not right, we come back and fix it that’s non-negotiable for us.
Do you only do full renovations, or can I hire you for one thing?
Either. Some clients want one trade say, just the flooring or the electrical and others want the whole house managed start to finish. Both are fine with us.
